Well....... mine was a busy day...... Made a new note pad cover with note pad today. Inspired by Kerries's tutorial on Couture creations blog ........(  #couturecreationsaus#heartsease #paperflowers #decorativedies#chipboard #journal #cre8time)
I maade this note pad cover ....looking similar to hers. Hope you would like it.....

My first Easel card

This year Valentine was a bit different ........ 

I made a valentine gift for my dear hubby ... and since it was a surprise ...I gift wrapped it and kept it in the Lunch bag of his .... 

Well I expected him to call me during his lunch time .... I mean regarding the surprise .... but it was my turn to be surprised .... b'cos even after 3 days of valentine's there was no mention from my husband regarding the gift.

Unable to control my mixed feelings .... I asked him about the gift .... he said ... " I din't open it ...cos I thought it was a gift for my colleague's marriage". Only after I told him that it was a surprise for him did he open it after 5 long days of my waiting. There went my valentine like a gas less balloon.

By the way this was my gift ......

My very first professional card

All the craft I learnt except jewellery making was from Internet only. So, with no proper guidance and Suggestions as to what to buy and what not to I plunged myself into online shopping.( Trust me on this... I wasted a lot of money in buying all the unnecessary).

Hmmmmm............. after lots of web search for online supply stores in India....... I stumbled across quite a few .
My very first purchase was from Itsy bitsy online store......let me think ..... what did I buy ...................yaaa Quilling materials. Then I googled a lot and found some local stores here in chennai where I got the materials I needed.
Things I made with them are ;
1. Card for my husband
2. Wall hanging for my Sister in Law.
3. Box which I use on my craft table.
4. Cover for the fuse box made from newspaper and quilling.
5. Photo Frames.
6. Jewellery.

Planning to do one more wall hanging ... since a year ...... now now ...don't tell me that I am lazy ....cos I know that I am ....hehee

The next online store that I came across is thecraftshop.in
I purchased the quilling dies from there. Seriously ...  dies ....me?
Only after I got them did I know that I needed a die machine.

Thats when I came across crafterscorner.in
Got my first SIZZIX big shot teal edition from that store. This got me addicted to dies and I started purchasing them......till date ......lol. What did I make from them ......?

Well this is my first card using dies and die cutting machine.

Trail at Terracotta

Hi Guys,

Wow , my second day of blogging...... hmmmm........
Tried my best to load all my oldest works yesterday ...but my net played the villian role and hampered my flow..... anyways ... here I am.

Well.........today I am posting some of my terracotta jewellery I did.

Had lots of fun doing them ..............unfortunately my wardrobe is full so took a break .........

I do them only once in a while on request.

My very first quilled card to my husband on our 2nd weddinganiversary ........

The beginner

My very first entry into the quilling world started with these simple frames .

The first frame wasdone on a thermocol sheet ... which i covered woth newspaper and made the border from glitter foam sheet.I made the mesh look by attaching quilling strips.

This framewas gifted to my brother's son.

This photo frame was also made from thermocol sheets which i covered with plain yellow paper. The design however was taken from one of my chudidar borders. I traced the border on a tracing paper first and then onto the frame. This frame now adornes my living room.

Intro

I'm  very much new to the blogging world......
Seriously I donno where to start from and what to write....lots going on in my mind.
I've been crafting for the past 3 years....
first my crafting started with ..... paper bowls.....
 then quilling ....
then jewellery making.....
terracotta jewellry ....
and finally ..........
card making.
Trust me my husband has gone bonkers .....for spending a lot on my varied interests......and filling my house with all sorts of junk.
I try my best to do justice to my varied interests and sometimes I do fail but that has not stopped me from pursuing my interests...Thanks to my patience partner ..my sponsorer and my critic (he ..he... my husband).
I did create thus blog a year and half back. .......but never got tge courage to pen down anything. Well even today I wouldn't have done so if it was not an accidental entry into my blog to post a comment on one of the blogs (Couture creations ).
I do follow many blogs but never had the courage to post any comment.....and this is the first time ever.........
